Making Gay History With The Gorgeous Nothings – A Live Podcast Launch

Making Gay History With The Gorgeous Nothings – A Live Podcast Launch brings the celebrated oral-history project to a live audience for a special podcast launch. The series is known for sharing first-person accounts that illuminate LGBTQ history and the people who shaped it. This event pairs that storytelling tradition with The Gorgeous Nothings, offering attendees an opportunity to experience the project in a live-program setting.

Scheduled for October 19, 2026, at Baryshnikov Arts Center in New York, this is a single listed date rather than a multi-city tour. The program falls under the Other category and Taped program (tv / radio) subcategory. Prices currently start around $40 for this smaller-scale event, though final prices may vary by seat availability and demand. Check bridgeporttickets.net for current ticket options.

Performer and Program

Making Gay History is built around archival interviews and personal testimony, presenting history through the voices of those who experienced it. The live podcast launch extends that approach beyond the recording, giving the audience a chance to engage with the project as it enters a new format. Specific guests, hosts, and opening acts have not been confirmed in the supplied event details.

New York provides a fitting setting for a program centered on LGBTQ stories and cultural history. Baryshnikov Arts Center is located in the city's vibrant arts landscape, making the event a natural fit for audiences interested in performance, documentary storytelling, and contemporary cultural programming.

Venue and Seating Information

Baryshnikov Arts Center presents a range of dance, music, theater, and multidisciplinary work. Its intimate arts-center atmosphere is well suited to a spoken-word program, where clear sightlines and a close connection to the presenters can add to the experience. Seating configuration may depend on the specific event setup, so review the ticket map before selecting seats.

For a live podcast, seats with a direct view of the stage are generally a practical choice, while central locations can offer a balanced perspective on the presenters. Accessible seating and current section details should be confirmed through the event's ticket options.
